2016 Women`s leading goal scorer Sarahmairead McLachlan reaches 25 games for the club when she takes to the field in the blue and white for the last SARFL W Carnival game of the season. Always around the club helping out and always putting her all into every game Sarahmairead gives as much as she can to the club!

Women`s Captain and assistant coach Stacey Hughes told us what its like to have Sarahmairead in the side. –  ” SM has been a big part of our club for a number of years now both on and off the field. Its always great to see someone start at the club but its even better to see someone commit to the club and do so well over a number of years, great work SM looking forward to Saturday!”

We caught up with Sarahmairead ahead of the game to ask what it means to be at the club and to have played 25 games for the Sharks.  – “I actually cant describe what the sharks mean to me, I’ve met so many amazing people at this club who have became a massive part of my life and the club was one of the first to support me when I started up my photography business so for that I’ll always be so thankful. It mean so much to be able to have my milestone game for the club this season. With it being the the first ever season of the Women`s carnivals I’m honored to be the 2nd woman ever to play 25 games for the club and cant wait to see the Women`s game grow more in Scotland and at the club”
